## The thesis
AI should make stories cheaper to produce — not storytellers cheaper to employ. Production costs collapsing matters less than the price of failure collapsing: when a first season is cheap, a world can meet a real audience before anyone commits to building all of it. That makes the storyteller far closer to the founder of an IP than to a supplier delivering a commissioned script. Tools stop being a moat once everyone has them; the storytellers are the moat.
